Mission

The mission of CTK 20/30 Somethings is to help young adults know, love and serve Our Lord by creating and fostering intentional community with others and with Christ.

Vision

The vision of the CTK 20/30 Somethings is to foster an intentional community for the young adults of our parish to encounter God in the sacraments and in each other, to nourish them in their Catholic faith, and to provide a variety of social and service events to build up the kingdom of God in our community.

We seek to create an inclusive and vibrant community for young adults in our Parish that thrives in the beauty of the unified diversity of the Catholic Church–a community for married couples; single people; families with children; and priests and religious life, a universal community for those in all professional careers, all cultures, and all stages of the Faith Journey.

We seek to practice the four signs of a dynamic Catholic, and we strive to be accessible examples of people living these four signs in practical ways!

1. Prayer:

We pray in community in Eucharistic Adoration the first Friday of every month at Pack the Cathedral. You can also sign up to cover one of our weekly adoration hour slots.

2. Study:

We seek to learn more about our Catholic faith and get to know others in the ministry through small group discussions and dinner at our Discipleship Nights, the second Tuesday of every month, and at our annual Retreat.

3. Generosity:

We seek to generously give of our time, treasure, and talent participating in our service opportunities, volunteering as greeters at our events, contributing financially to our events and initiatives, and being active Christ the King Parishioners in presence, in stewardship, and in service.

4. Evangelization:

We share our journey with others by living our Catholic faith authentically in our daily lives and by inviting our friends to Mass and our events.
