NOTE: This event has a cap of 25 people. We will be in contact to let you know whether you are in the first 25 or on the waitlist. We will follow up with everyone week of the event to confirm who is able to attend, and pull up people from the waitlist if possible.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. This year, CTK will be performing its first FULL Habitat Build! Join the CTK 20/30 Somethings Ministry for Framing Day - we will be in the Habitat warehouse framing all the walls to be assembled on the jobsite at a later date. No prior building experience or construction skills are necessary, but please do wear closed toed shoes to our build day.

Happy Earth Month!! Please join the CTK 20/30 Somethings group as we celebrate Earth Day and live out the Catholic Social Teaching of “Care for God’s Creation” by serving with Trees Atlanta! We will be participating in their city-wide Forest Restoration Project in honor of Earth Day. This project will help to restore native plant diversity around the park, and will include activities such as hand-pulling and cutting of invasive plants in a densely wooded area off-trail (physical activity and dirtiness included!).

WEAR / BRING: Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and closed toed shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting dirty. Trees Atlanta will provide necessary tools, but please bring work gloves and drinking water with you.

PARKING: We will be working at Jennie Drake Park. Please meet on the corner of OldKnow Road and Waterford Road. The nearest address is 621 Waterford Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. On-street parking is available on OldKnow Road and Waterford Road.
